As community health needs grow, A Cincinnati-based manufacturer has spent the last 30+ years building the literal driving force behind mobile healthcare across America. Mobile Conversions International, based right here in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Born and built right here in the Cincinnati area, our family-owned business has engineered and manufactured world-class, specialty custom vehicles that serve as standalone mobile health centers across the Globe.
In late 1966 our Founder Mike Dobbins completed his degree in Science and Mechanical engineering and set off innovating for large companies across the USA. Soon his mission would be to bring healthcare into remote areas or to those who cannot wait for a brick-and-mortar building, creating the start of the Mobile healthcare industry. In 1986 he developed the DynaCoaach, a mobile hospital facility for healthcare workers to travel to their patients, as published in the Cincinnati Enquirer. This was a great value add to hospitals that wanted to bring the latest technologies to market at a lower cost while reaching a broader population in need. By 1993, the company had outgrown two locations! Moving to a 16,000 sq ft warehouse in Amelia, Ohio, on the outskirts of Cincinnati’s downtown area. This was the beginning of bringing new high-paying quality engineering jobs for our employees, many are going on 20yrs with the company. By this time, MCI was building Mobile Specialty healthcare vehicles as its primary specialty alongside commercial modular healthcare centers and a myriad of specialty modalities for Government agencies. MCI has provided and delivered mobile healthcare solutions to several countries across the globe.
Our coaches bridge the gap, bringing advanced medical capabilities directly into underserved urban neighborhoods and remote rural communities, and agile mobile healthcare accessibility to providers. Mike is now in his late 80s and would love to share his story. How we did it.

Furthermore, our commitment to your mission extends long after delivery. At our Cincinnati-area headquarters, we operate one of the region’s largest service facilities—complete with one of the region’s largest an onsite commercial paint booth. Providing comprehensive new builds from Federal to local levels as well as Refurbishments on all make and model coaches extending fleet operational for years to come at a lower cost.
